Security Officer Full Time Retail Center Patrol

About the role

As a Full Time Retail Center Patrol Security Officer in Escondido, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors. You will communicate professionally, report observations, and collaborate with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and guided by integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Monitor access points and parking activity; assist with visitor directions and report unauthorized persons or vehicles to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Tuesday: 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Friday: 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Saturday: 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Sunday: 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
