Security Officer Full Time Reception Support

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence at a commercial office location in Glendale, CA. You will manage visitor access, monitor entry activity, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk, greet visitors, verify access authorization, and direct guests, vendors, and employees in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor visitor activity and access points, maintain required logs and records, and communicate relevant information to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Assist with access control and reception-area coverage while maintaining a professional, customer-focused presence.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles).
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$19.00 per hour.
