Security Officer Full Time Reception Services

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide professional customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees and guests, support security-related procedures, and help maintain an organized, secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control requirements at a logistics and distribution location.
• Greet and screen incoming visitors, verify credentials and appointments, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate entry and departure records.
• Monitor front-desk activity, incoming calls, and designated access points; communicate relevant security-related information to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Complete daily activity reports, visitor logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$24.00 / hour

• Thursday: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Friday: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
