Security Officer Full Time Reception Driver

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a manufacturing and industrial location in MIDLAND, NC, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badges, monitor alarm-related activity, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will help maintain a secure, professional environment through clear communication and dependable service.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a manufacturing and industrial facility by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access protocols.
• Staff the front desk or reception area, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry records.
• Monitor access control systems, cameras, alarms, and communication equipment, reporting unusual activity and escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with onsite personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence, communicate site policies, and complete required daily activity reports and other documentation.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$20.12 / hour

Schedule

• Day shift: Monday–Friday, 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
