Security Officer Full Time - Real Estate Agency

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Access Control in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff while helping maintain an orderly environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and support compliance with property access procedures
• Document patrols, incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related observations in required reports and communicate relevant information to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred
• Access control and badge experience is preferred
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
• A guard card or license is preferred

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $25.05 / Hour. Schedule: DayTime — Thursday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Friday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Saturday 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sunday 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM.
