Security Officer Full Time Protection

About the role

As a Full Time Protection Security Officer in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with shoppers and team members, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site management, Allied Universal leadership, and applicable law enforcement or emergency personnel.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
