Security Officer Full Time Patrolling

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrolling in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry points, lobbies, and/or assigned areas to help support authorized access, report maintenance or property issues, and provide clear directions or assistance to occupants and guests.
• Complete routine reports, activity logs, and/or incident documentation while following Allied Universal standards and site-specific instructions for the assigned location.

Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
