Security Officer Full Time Patrol Surveillance

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Surveillance in Byhalia, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will communicate professionally, document observations, and respond to site needs with integrity, reliability, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and document relevant observations.
• Maintain clear and accurate activity logs, incident reports, and communications with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
