About the Role
As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Security in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. At a premier hotel and resort location, Allied Universal Security Officers monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere for guests, visitors, and staff. This role combines routine patrols, visible presence, and exceptional customer service with clear communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a hotel or resort location.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe arriving and departing traffic, and assist with visitor directions, policy awareness, and/or other hospitality-focused support as needed.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and noteworthy observations, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal supervisors and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters.
Qualifications
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Schedule
Daytime shifts, Monday through Thursday, 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM.

$19.50 / Hour
