Security Officer Full Time Patrol Officer

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a transportation location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to riders, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, parking areas, platforms, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, public areas, and assigned posts for suspicious behavior, unattended items, and policy violations, and document security-related incidents in a timely manner.
• Aid with emergency response activities, crowd management, and directional support during peak periods, special events, and/or service interruptions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
