Security Officer Full Time Patrol Agent

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the property.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to control access, assist with directions, and support an orderly environment for patients and visitors.
• Communicate with Allied Universal leadership and location contacts regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters that may require follow-up.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills
