Security Officer Full Time Overnight Patrol

About the role
As a Security Officer Full Time Route Driver in Clayton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, donors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
