Security Officer Full Time Overnight

About the role

As a Security Officer Driver Badge Control Patrol in Clayton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and donors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, donors, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare and plasma collection location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, donor, and employee activity, assisting with access-control procedures and directing individuals in accordance with site requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, patrol activity, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
