As a Security Officer - Full Time - Mornings in Cedar Rapids, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Maintain clear documentation, provide exceptional customer service, and help promote a welcoming environment through teamwork and professional communication.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of incoming and outgoing communications, incidents, access concerns, and service requests in accordance with site procedures.
• Coordinate with on-site personnel and emergency responders during critical situations, providing timely updates and following established escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business, perimeter, access points, and industrial operations areas, while reporting unusual conditions or hazards.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
