Security Officer Full Time Mobile Driver

About the role

As a Full Time Mobile Driver Security Officer in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Residential, and more. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols at commercial real estate and residential locations, helping to deter incidents while supporting a welcoming environment for residents, tenants, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential and commercial property areas, including building exteriors, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, property conditions, and policy violations, then document observations and report concerns according to site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor inquiries, and directions while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required. A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
