About the role

As a Full Time Medical Response Patrol Security Officer in Wexford, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and contribute through teamwork, reliability, innovation, and integrity in a caring, people-first culture.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access control procedures, and the reporting of suspicious activity or facility concerns.
  • Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Requirements

  • Be willing to receive required hospital vaccines.
  • Be comfortable working in a hospital morgue.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
