Security Officer Full Time Loss Prevention Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Full Time Loss Prevention Patrol Driver in Penns Grove, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, office spaces, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe the movement of vehicles and personnel, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$18.25 / hour
