Security Officer Full Time Lobby Credentialing

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location in Burbank, CA, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge activities, monitor entry points, and provide exceptional customer service. Your professional presence and clear communication will help support a secure, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Manage the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Monitor access points, receive deliveries, direct guests, and communicate access concerns or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Maintain professional communication with employees, visitors, contractors, and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a welcoming and controlled front-desk environment.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
