Security Officer Full Time Licensed Patrol Driver

About the role
As a Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a healthcare location, helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a healthcare and pharmaceutical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate professionally with site contacts, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
- A New York State Security Guard License.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Pay
$22.64 - $23.64 / hour

- Tuesday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Wednesday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Saturday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Sunday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
