About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Incident Response in Minooka, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will communicate professionally, respond to incidents, and provide customer service while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution facility, loading areas, employee entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe receiving, shipping, and warehouse operations for security-related concerns and report potential policy violations, hazards, or suspicious activity to site leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.50 / Hour

Daytime, 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
