As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Immunization Access Patrol in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, support access control and badge processes, and provide courteous service to patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, including directing individuals to appropriate departments and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders.

Requirements

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$17.87 - $18.87 / Hour
