As a Security Officer Full Time Gated Community in Anaheim Hills, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help manage entry points, verify visitors and credentials, and support a welcoming environment for residents and guests. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally, and help deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit activity at community access points, verify authorized access, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery information in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Have access control and badge experience (preferred).
• Have customer service experience (preferred).
• Possess a guard card or license (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$22.50 per hour.

Schedule

Full Time / Swing Shift. Thursday through Sunday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
