Security Officer - Full Time - Evening

Responsibilities

• Conduct patrol duties
• Respond immediately to emergency and non-emergency calls for assistance
• Document services provided on each shift
• Act in a courteous and professional manner at all times
• Take the lead in controlling violent/threatening situations after clinical and non-clinical staff have attempted verbal de‑escalation
• Detain and/or restrain violent patients, visitors, or staff members as needed

Education

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record

Experience

Prior security or public safety experience preferred, with an emphasis on providing a safe and dignified environment in stressful situations with a diverse patient, visitor and staff population.
