About the role
As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Screening in Perrysburg, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will help support a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and/or packages in accordance with site procedures. You will maintain a professional presence, report security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and property entering or leaving the distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, the facility, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
