Security Officer Full Time Entry Control Gate

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, maintain visitor and driver logs, and direct authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, access exceptions, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

$18.73 / Hour

Day Time: Monday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Tuesday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Wednesday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Thursday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sunday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
