Security Officer Full Time Entry Authorization

About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Hatfield, PA, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, maintain a visible presence, and help to deter incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication and exceptional customer service while documenting activity and responding to security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, issue credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
• Control access to manufacturing and industrial areas, receiving locations, and restricted spaces to help deter unauthorized entry and support orderly site operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and report concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and exterior access points; identify and report security-related conditions requiring attention.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
