Security Officer Full - Time Driver

About the role
As a Full-Time Driver Security Officer in Lima, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will support a welcoming environment while following Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, buildings, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
- Complete accurate reports, maintain patrol documentation, and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$20.50 / hour

- Monday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Tuesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Thursday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
