Security Officer - Full Time - Driver

As a Security Officer - Full Time - Driver in Oregon, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs while communicating relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $21.11 per hour. Paid weekly.

Schedule

• Monday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Friday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Saturday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Sunday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
