About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer Full Time Driver in Bridgeton, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service, respond to alarms, and communicate clearly while representing Allied Universal’s values.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting emergency services when directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
