About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time - Days Unarmed in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, aircraft support areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 19 years of age for role
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located
• Security Experience 1+ years
• Must Have Great Customer Service Skills
• Must Be Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Pay and Schedule

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time - Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
