Security Officer Full Time Credential Management

About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify badges and credentials, monitor access activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a professional, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying employee, visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle traffic, and access control systems, reporting unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.50 / Hour

• Monday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tuesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
