As a Security Officer Full Time Corporate High-rise Building Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public at a government facility while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, parking areas, grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain required activity logs, and communicate observations and incidents to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Requirements
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay
Pay Rate: $22.70 / Hour
