About the Role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Incident Response Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial office property.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior office areas, common spaces, building entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report irregular conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and logs for incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $24.05 - $25.05 / Hour

Schedule

Mon-Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
