Security Officer Full Time Communications Coordinator
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor and dispatch responses to security-related alarms, calls for service, and incidents, maintaining clear communication with officers, site contacts, and emergency responders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events and escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, shift activity records, and communications documentation using designated systems.
- Coincide regular and random patrol activity around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized access and reporting observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
