Security Officer Full Time Badge Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location in Seattle, WA, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity and communicate with tenants, visitors, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property representatives while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns through clear and timely reports.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$23.75 / hour
