Security Officer - Full Time

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a food and beverage production location, where you will manage access control, monitor entry points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor and employee communication. You will help maintain a secure environment through attentive observation, professional service, and clear reporting of security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a food and beverage production location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and visitor authorization, issue appropriate credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, building perimeters, and designated facility areas to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and access control concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management through clear, timely reports and documentation.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
