Security Officer Full Time

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Ambassador in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and use technology to document observations and respond to security-related needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directional assistance, and adherence to site access procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$20.46 per hour

Schedule

Full Time. Day shifts: Monday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
