Security Officer Full Time Armed Mobile Patrol Driver

About the role
As an Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Auburndale, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. Supporting a government transportation testing location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to government facility personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, roadways, perimeter, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, contractors, and vehicles entering or leaving restricted areas.
- Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while handling assigned equipment in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 5 years of security-related experience.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
