Security Officer Full Time Airport Patrol Officer

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic government airport location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support travelers and staff through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or policy concerns according to site protocols.

Requirements

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Pay

$19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.
