Security Officer Full Time Active Patrol

About the role

As a Full Time Active Patrol Security Officer in Claude, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers at a food and beverage location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, entrances, and designated operational areas to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Observe facility conditions during patrols and report hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site management or Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
