Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Credential Intake in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through professional communication, routine access-control activities, and timely reporting of security-related concerns.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, check credentials, and maintain visitor and delivery records in accordance with site procedures.
• Control access for delivery vehicles and personnel, direct traffic to designated areas, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
