Security Officer Full Time Access Control Patrol

About the role

As a Full Time Access Control Patrol Security Officer in Coconut Grove, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Residential. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, support access control, and respond to security-related concerns. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to residents and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, building exteriors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and irregular conditions through required reports and communication channels.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• State, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.75 per hour.
