About The Site
This position is located at this up-and-coming Elite Athletic Academy, a premier boarding school dedicated to developing high-performing student-athletes in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. The academy combines rigorous academics with elite athletic training, creating a campus where students live, learn, and compete year-round. Security Officers play a vital role in maintaining a secure atmosphere for students, faculty, staff, families, and visitors while upholding the academy's standards of professionalism, respect, and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Surveillance: Monitor security cameras and conduct regular patrols of academic buildings, residence halls, athletic facilities, and campus grounds to identify suspicious activity, safety hazards, or unauthorized access.
- Access Control: Verify identification, manage visitor access, and ensure only authorized individuals enter campus facilities.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to alarms, medical emergencies, behavioral incidents, and other security concerns.
- Incident Reporting: Accurately document incidents, observations, and policy violations in a timely manner.
- Patrolling: Perform routine foot patrols throughout the campus, including dormitories, classrooms, athletic venues, parking areas, and exterior grounds.
- Customer Service: Provide assistance, directions, and support to students, faculty, staff, parents, and visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
- Safety Inspections: Identify and report safety concerns, maintenance issues, or potential hazards affecting campus operations.
- Conflict Resolution: Professionally de-escalate situations while maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with school administration, residential staff, athletic personnel, fellow Security Officers, and emergency responders when necessary.

- Basic to intermediate computer skills
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation and communication
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Pay
$20 per hour
Schedule
Multiple schedules available, including 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.
