Security Officer Front Desk

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as a Front Desk professional in a driving post. You will greet visitors, manage access, monitor activity at the entrance, and support security-related operations through clear communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and security-related protocols for a manufacturing location.
• Monitor access to the lobby and entry points, verify visitor identity and/or authorization, and help to deter unauthorized entry through established sign-in practices.
• Answer questions, direct visitors to appropriate departments, and support front desk communications in a professional, courteous manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting designated personnel and documenting activity as needed.
• Maintain accurate front desk logs, visitor records, and incident reports while observing site policies and confidentiality expectations.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
