Security Officer Front Desk Access Control Driver

About the role

As a Front Desk Access Control Driver in Visalia, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls. You will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service while supporting security-related procedures and responding to incidents. A valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a retail front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Greet visitors, manage access control processes, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and delivery records.
• Monitor front-desk activity, cameras, alarms, and communication systems, reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events as required.
• Assist with directing guests, providing information, and supporting a professional, welcoming environment at the location.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$18.57 / hour
