As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Xray Screening in Indianapolis, IN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or personal property entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and activities to site leadership as required.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to shipping, receiving, sorting, and other restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses required may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
