About the role
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Torrance, CA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and facility operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; escalate concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the property perimeter.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual activity accurately; communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$21.31 / hour
Schedule
- Monday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Thursday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Friday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Saturday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Sunday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
