Job Description
As a Security Officer for Behavioral Clinic in Bellflower, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication.
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions at the location.
- Monitor access points and common areas, help to verify authorized entry, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations according to post instructions.
- Support a healthcare location by helping with wayfinding, visitor assistance, and security-related interactions while maintaining professionalism and clear communication during routine and high-activity periods.

Minimum Requirements
- Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
