About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail food store location in New York, NY. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and contacting emergency services when needed.
• Assist with access control, customer and employee interactions, and documentation of incidents, observations, and daily activities.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$19.48 per hour.

• Thursday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Friday: 03:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sunday: 03:00 PM - 10:30 PM
