Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, including checking credentials, logging visitor activity, and communicating access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and documentation regarding patrol activity, incidents, and/or daily observations, and support site emergency procedures, evacuations, and related response actions when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
